Hand Drumming Classes: $12
  • Wednesdays from 6 - 7 pm at Tranquil Grounds Cafe, 823 S Kerr Ave.  (Near Apple Annies)

From a student - Thank you so much, Perry.  You're a wonderful teacher and you bring such joy and enthusiasm, --and fun!--to every class. It was lovely spending time with you and getting a glimpse into the world of drumming.
Thank you. - Elizabeth

A Typical Hand Drum Class looks like this:

We gather and talk about the ways to play the drum with ease and pain free, do a warmup, and then explore one or several of the many rhythms that have been taught to me or some of my own creations. Drums are provided, and all are welcome.

Hand Drumming is proving to be one of the best things you can do to improve cognition, reduce stress, increase problem solving skills, reduce the risk of dementia and increase spirituality. If you don't have a drum, no worries, Perry will have one there for you. Once you get going and you want to get your own drum I'll be happy to help you get what is best for you. Come join us!
